Good experience there. Nicely appointed and lovely hotel in a great area really close to the train-all in walking distance, Adelaide city centre, and Gawler on a family emergency. Yummy choice of coffee and tea at breakfast. The service in the property was courteous! Everything very good.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place! The rooms and setup exceeded our expectations. Not only were the hosts friendly and generous, but they also provided a full basic fridge supply including milk, bread, and even a welcome tasting port. The room itself was fantastic, with rustic decor and comfortable chairs. The breakfast options were plentiful, and if we needed anything else, all we had to do was ask. The location was also great, with a short stroll down to the main street full of pubs and restaurants. we were extremely satisfied with our stay here.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was blown away by the cleanliness and hotel facilities. The pool table was a great touch and there was even a BBQ on the verandah. The staff was very friendly and breakfast options were fantastic. The location close to restaurants and shops was also very convenient.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Great breakfast options and location, but the biggest yard I've ever seen for a B&B! Perfect for our dogs to stretch their legs.
The lack of human interaction made it feel like we weren't even being welcomed into the property. Key was just left in a safe, and money was deducted from my account without any interference.

We stayed in the Thomson Suite and were blown away by its artistic touch and history as a foundry. The exposed brick walls, skylight, and woodburner fireplace added to the charm. Greg, the host, greeted us warmly and even filled the fridge with more breakfast supplies than we could eat. The attention to detail and generosity were outstanding.

The spacious room was perfect for a group trip. We were happy to find basic foods in the fridge and the fully equipped kitchen was useful. The location was convenient, within walking distance to local restaurants and attractions, and the friendly staff provided us with helpful tips for our exploration.
While the vintage-inspired decor was appealing, some areas could have used better lighting. The TV and appliances could also benefit from an upgrade.
